5-foot-9, 165 pounds, on the smaller side but already filling out strength-wise. Profiles best as a third or second baseman. He does not have elite foot speed or quick twitch lateral movements, but showed instincts for reading the ball off the bat and a good first step. He has a plus glove, with a developing arm that throws from a ¾ slot. Offensively, Barry is a line drive hitter, with a level bat path. Not much power in the profile. Middle-to-opposite field approach, feet set shoulder width apart with a small leg kick. Hands work from the letters, solid bat control and contact ability.
Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.23

5-foot-8, 150-pound, average athletic frame, the shoulders are squared off, has plenty of room for future development. A right-handed hitter, the hands start lower than shoulder height, the feet are wider than shoulder width and front foot is slightly open. The hands have separation to them, get back into a good launched position. The lower half is under control, has a no stride approach, picks foot up, places it back down, could gain some ground with stride. The swing is level across his chest, stays through the baseball, rolls the wrists late, creates lift with his swing. The approach is more middle gap to gap. Defensively, arm is quick and clean, clocked at 71 mph, has some strength to it, works out of a natural ¾ slot. The hands are soft, fields the ball out front. The footwork needs to get cleaned up on the double play starts, reps and practice will help. The backhand and slow roller play made with easy effort. Projects for me as more of a third baseman, showed ok running ability on sixty-yard dash, clocked at 7.28
