6-foot, 170-pound, average athletic frame, wiry strong, actions and movements are smooth, has plenty of room to fill out. A right-handed hitter, who had a great day at the plate collecting 4 singles, all squared up well. The stance is balanced throughout, is in the right place on contact. The lower half is under control, stride is straight and gains ground with it. The hands are loose and work freely through the zone, the swing is flat to up. The tee exit velocity was 75 mph, with a ton more in there. The approach is gap to gap, sprayed the ball all over the field. Times down the line were 4.61. Defensively, the feet and transfer were clean from outfield, he uses a high crow hop. The arm is a tick above average, clocked at 81 mph, gets behind ball, throws downhill. On the mound, works out of simple, controlled delivery, fastball was 73-76 mph and thrown for strikes. The breaking ball was clocked at 68-70 mph, more of a short slider, break was late and good spin hard to pick up. The changeup was clocked 62 mph. Can really swing the bat, projects for me as more of a position player.
