The swing path is level across the chest, it's short to the ball, stays through it, has a line drive approach, the second round of batting practice was very good. The tee exit velocity was 81 mph, and ran a 7.87 sixty yard dash. Defensively, setup is balanced, low to the ground behind the plate. The hands are soft, receives the ball with ease, gets around pitches, keeps the baseball in the zone, gives the umpire something to see. The arm and feet work well, feet gain ground in transfer and gets closed up, arm action is short and clean, throws right from his ear. The arm was clocked at 72 mph and pop times of 2.12-2.22. The approach to the game is at a high level, tough competitor, is a grinder.

The glove gets to throwing hand fairly quickly, the action is short on the back side. Pop times were 2.19-2.28, and was clocked at 71 mph, has some strength in his arm.
