Second event for Colby, showed much better this time around. The delivery is side arm to underneath. This time he looked smoother and more comfortable with his delivery. When he speeds up the motion, the arm works better and ball comes out. The fastball was 69-71, with sink and run, when he was on time and he let his backside come through, ball had some good action to it. The breaking pitch was 65-66, needs to stay in same slot. With reps and innings the delivery will become smoother, recoils at times, more in the tank.

At 6-foot-2, 205-pounds the frame is strong, the back is wide and has a good durable pitcher's body. Throws from underneath, the fastball was 71-73, when he stays on time and everything is in line, the ball has good sink and action to it. The breaking pitch was 69/70, spin was tight. Once he learns to repeat his delivery and gets comfortable with it, getting release point consistent, will be fine. The arm is clean and works. Every good pitching staff needs a sub guy.
