7/12/16
5-foot-10, 155-pound, long, lengthy, wiry strong athletic frame, with plenty of room for future development. An extremely athletic kid with loose and free actions throughout his game. A right-handed hitter, the setup is basic and simple, slightly open to even, hands are loose off the back shoulder and back elbow extended outward just a bit. For timing, he uses a double toe tap, is on time and is balanced when making contact. The swing is level across his chest and finishes with one hand. The tee exit velocity was 80 mph, with a ton more in there, could finish and stay through it more to create more backspin and length to balls in gap. The approach is gap to gap, legs are above average ran an easy 4.2 down the line to first and he is very athletic. Defensively, the arm is clean with above average carry and flight to his throws. Throws are downhill and on target. High follow, will be out to see him early and often next year, just a matter of time before he takes off.

2/14/16

5-foot-10, 148-pound thin, projectable body frame with room to fill out. Toolsy type player,  offensively, ran a 7.28 60-yard dash, is a tick or two better than that. Legs have a chance to be a plus tool down the road. Hits from the right side, set up is open to even, uses a double toe tap for timing. Hands are loaded up, just off the shoulder, grip gets a little tight, could loosen slightly to will create more whip. The path is traditional, down, level and up. The tee exit velocity was 77 mph, should climb quick. Defensively, he attacks the ball smoothly from the outfield. Preps steps and transfer are clean, fields ball out front and steps through it. Clocked at 83 mph, arm is fast and clean on the back side, downhill easy carry, on-line throws. Plus athlete.
