5-foot-8, 150-pound, average athletic frame, has plenty of room to fill out. A left-handed pitcher, the change up is an above average pitch, has action and fade to the arm side, showed the ability to throw it to both sides of the plate, clocked at 63-64 mph, speed is proper off the fastball. The delivery has a slower tempo to it, hands have rhythm to them, they come set slightly higher at head height. The separation is inline, collapses on the back side, lead leg is in line with target. The arm path is slightly shorter on the backside, no hesitation, has some hand speed out front, front glove is inline with minimal pull to it. The arm works out of a ¾ to high ¾ slot, fastball was clocked at 70-72 mph, worked down in the zone. The breaking ball was clocked at 51-53 mph, showed to have a big, slow break, needs to be thrown harder, cutter may be the way to go to offset the changeup. The changeup is thrown with conviction, uses the entire body to throw this pitch, does not slow down at all. Times to the plate fluctuated from 1.44-1.88, from the peak of leg raise. On release of baseball and finish, try not to lean or pull head off target, stay on it and keep head still. Strength is a must, a regimented throwing program should aid in arm strength and velocity jump.
