6-foot-4, 170-pound, long, lengthy, wiry strong frame, has plenty of room to fill out, will be very physical at some point. One of the better players at this workout, continues to impress and feel his upside is off the charts. A left-handed hitter, who took two good rounds of BP and made solid contact in the game, collecting 3 singles, all on good swings. The approach is gap to gap. The stance is slightly wider, feet are even and hands are relaxed and loose, bat is flat on shoulder. The swing is level to up, finishes with two hands, the tee exit velocity was 84 mph. Time down the line is 4.56, should get better with added strength and speed of game at next level. Defensively, plays up the middle, probably going to get pushed to a corner spot or left field at the next level. Works from the ground up, gets ball out front, keeps feet moving throughout. Pops up to make the throws could stay lower, could get more flexible in the hips to keep him lower. The arm is short fairly clean, clocked at 80 mph with life across the diamond and ball gets through the first baseman. On the mound, has a simple delivery, hands start low and stay low throughout. The fastball was 77-80 mph, it's downhill and thrown for strikes. The curveball was 69-70, slurve type break to it and changeup was 67-73 mph. At times spins off, could lengthen the stride and stay stronger on lead arm. Projects for me as position player, someone is going to get a real good one late. Receiving interest from all three levels.

6-foot-4, 170-pound, long wiry-athletic build with room for future development. Two-way player, offensively, hits from the left side. The stance is balanced, even, feet are a little wider than shoulder width apart. The hands are set just above the shoulders, relaxed and comfortable in a good hitting position. His stride is straight and he gains ground with it.  The swing is flat through the zone, barrel stays in the zone, finishes with two hands. The tee exit velocity was 84 mph, with more in the tank, swing has fluidity to it. In the field, he shows good prep steps, keeps his feet moving through the ball, hands are soft and transfer is clean. The stride is short, so he tends to throw uphill, slot is high-¾. Clocked at 75 mph across the diamond. Off the mound, he comes at you out of a high-¾ slot.  Hands start low and stay low, delivery is simple, rushes forward at times, stride is straight but short, which causes him to fall off to glove side. The arm is clean and he has some quickness on the backside, fastball was 75-77 mph. The curveball was thrown at  64-65 mph, with some downward break. Throws a split for the change at 69-70 mph. Strength is must, this one has a serious chance.

At 6-foot-4, 170-pounds this solid athletic left handed hitter, hits from a closed stance with a high elbow and a long stride. His hands are loose with some pop in them. His tee exit velocity was 85. Jack’s path to the ball was good, he just needs to shorten his stride a little bit so he is on time. He is an average runner, he was 4.53 down the line. At shortstop, he was 68 across the diamond, his arm strength needs to get better. He needs to get his hands and feet to work together and not cut off his throw. Off the mound, his fastball was 74-76, his arm action was short and clean and he had good arm-side sink. His curveball was thrown at 68-69 and had good rotation to it. The future is bright, the bat is going to play, the question is where will he play in the field?
