6-foot, 195-pound, strong physical frame, has some strength and fast twitch to his hands. A right-handed hitter, who has pop in his hands. The stance is even based, balanced throughout, the hands are loose, swing path is level to up and finishes with one hand. Creates backspin and lift to the swing, ball carries well to the gaps. The tee exit velocity was 82 mph, has a gap to gap approach. In game swings and at bats were good, collected a single and lined out to center. Time down the line was 4.71, had good reads on bases during game play. Defensively, the arm is clean from the outfield, it's short on the backside, the exchange was quick and got on top and threw down hill. The arm was clocked at 76 mph. At first he is a good target to throw to, has soft hands and picked balls to his backhand with easy effort. The feet work in starting the double play. The arm was clocked at 75 mph across the diamond. Projects for me as more of a first baseman, been coached well. I had the opportunity to see him in high school, pitched an inning of relief, arm works off the bump, might be a good follow off mound as well.
