5-foot-11, 195-pound, strong, thick, durable pitchers frame. The shoulders are sloped, arms are long. A left-handed pitcher, works entire from the set position. The hands start at the midsection, work up with his controlled leg raise, looks to stay tall and over the rubber. The separation is on time and in the middle part of the frame. The arm path has average length to it, at times opens it early on the back side, works out of a ¾ slot. The fastball was clocked at 68-71 mph, at times up in the zone, front leg gets stiff, needs to soften, will help get out front on release. The second inning of work was clean, pounded the zone. The secondary pitches were thrown for strikes, curve ball had top to bottom break and to it, clocked at 60-62 mph. The changeup was clocked at 64-66 mph with proper fade to it. Strength and a regimented throwing program will help in the velocity.

5-foot-10, 170-pound, average athletic frame, shoulders are sloped, has a good durable pitcher’s body. This left-handed pitcher worked from the stretch position the entire time in his outing. The arm works out of a high ¾ slot, arm action is a little longer on the backside and opens it slightly early. The hands have tempo with leg raise, separation is clean and in middle of body. The direction is in line, front glove could stay on target longer. The fastball was 69-71 mph, with some sink and action to armside. The changeup looked to be his best pitch, clocked at 64-66 mph, turns it over with action to armside and it came out of the same slot as the fastball. The breaking ball is a work in progress, only threw one and was clocked at 60 mph, a short slider maybe the way to go. Times to the plate were 1.6. Strength and a regimented long toss throwing program will help in velocity jump.
