5-foot-10, 150-pound, average athletic frame, a well proportioned athlete, has plenty of room to fill out. A right-handed hitter, the stance is slightly open and shoulder width apart. The hands start above his back shoulder. The lower half is under control, uses a toe tap for timing, gains ground with the stride. The swing is down to level, finishes with one hand at shoulder height. The approach is more middle of the field, shows to have average power for his age. Defensively, plays up the middle in the infield, the prep steps are under control, gets around the baseball well and momentum is moving towards his target. Fields the baseball out front, moves well to the backhand side. The arm was clocked at 73 mph across the diamond, arm action is smooth and clean on the backside, shows to have average carry. Off the mound this right-hander works out of a simple delivery. The hands start and stay at mid chest, has a controlled leg raise with some coil to it at its peak. The arm action is clean, ball comes out of a higher slot, fastball was 75-77 mph, it cuts and sinks, doesn't go straight. The breaking ball has 12/6 rotation, breaks straight down. The changeup was clocked at 73 mph, with times to the plate being 1.6. The direction of the lead leg, could be better, projects for me as a pitcher, with the ability to spin the breaking ball.
