6-foot, 175-pound, average athletic frame, shoulders are square, has room to fill out still. On the mound this right-handed pitcher works from a controlled simple delivery. The hands start and stay low at the waist. The leg raise is smooth, gets to a good gather and comes to a pause, keeping weight back. The lead arm is strong and stays closed, the stride is short, gets on top and throws down hill. The arm action is short, arm works out of a high-¾ slot, ball comes out well with life, jumps at times. The fastball was clocked from 73-78 mph, with many 78’s. The breaking ball showed 11/5 spin, was clocked at 62 mph. Times to the plate were 1.38. Pitched well in his two innings of work, hides and has some deception to the delivery, attacked worked fast and competed well.
