6-foot, 155-pound, thin, long, lengthy athletic frame. The neck is long, shoulders are squared off, has plenty of room for future development, is very athletic for his age. The throwing arm is his top tool, arm action is extremely loose, quick and has hand speed out front, clocked at 77 mph, has a ton more in there. The setup behind the plate is balanced, feet are slightly closer together, sits on the flats of his feet. The hands are strong receiving the baseball, receives the low pitch very well. The transfer is clean and quick, feet get inline and frontside is strong and stays closed throughout. Offensively, hits from the right side. The stance is open, feet are shoulder width apart, stride is minimal, steps in just so slightly. The hands are loose at shoulder height, stay back during the stride, weight transfers from the backside to front. The swing is level across his chest, keeps his hands inside the baseball, approach is gap to gap, bat speed is average to above for his age. The potential to hit with gap power is there, once he physically matures. Big follow for me, frame projects out, arm is electric.
