6-foot-7, 225-pound, huge, wide frame. The arms and legs are long, has room to fill out, needs to gain strength. On the mound, this right-handed pitcher has tempo in his delivery. The hands start high, drop down with rocker step and then work in sync with leg raise as they come back up. The arm path is real short on the back side and comes out of a high-¾ slot. The stride is in line, could be slightly longer, has slight bend in back leg. The fastball was 69-70 mph with small sink to arm side. The breaking ball was clocked at 58-62 mph and changeup was clocked at 64-65 mph, with downward action. Times to the plate were at 1.30, worked fast and threw strikes, attacked hitters. The head could stay on and up on release and could be stronger on the backside, might help in gaining depth and velocity. Strength and a regimented throwing program will help.
