5-foot-9, 145-pound average athletic frame. The neck is long, shoulders are sloped, has plenty of room to fill out. The actions and  movements are loose, work freely. A left-handed hitter, stance is shoulder width apart and slightly open. The hands are set at shoulder height, is balanced throughout and is on time when he makes contact. The lower half is under control, stride is straight, gains ground with it, weight transfers from the back side to front. The swing is level right across his chest, finishes it off with two hands, the barrel has whip out front to the finish. The approach was gap to gap, peppered the back wall with line drives. Defensively, plays up the middle, prep steps are good, is under control attacking the baseball. The hands are soft, works from the ground up, momentum continues to move towards target. The arm action is short on the back side, ball comes out of a ¾ slot, showed good touch across the diamond. Starts and feeds for double plays were good, follows flip and toss. Showed smooth actions on the backhand play. Strength is a must, projects for me as more of a second baseman, like the ability to swing and handle the bat.
