On the mound, the right-hander sat at 78-80 with a true fastball. The fastball had good sink and it jumped when it got to the plate. The slot is higher than -¾ which forces him to push his head to the side a little as the arm comes through. The breaking pitch is 68 but had the right shape to it. The tempo of the motion needs to be picked up a little bit. The delivery is repeated as it is slow and mechanical. As a positional player, he ran a 4.88 down the line. Threw 75 from the outfield, shows that he has the arm strength that will eventually translate to the mound. Offensively, he hit out of a wide base setup, with good hands and the path is good to the ball, but leans back once he makes contact. The tee exit velocity is 82. Someone to follow off the mound.
