8/5/15 - 5-foot-7 165 pound SS/2B with a strong and compact frame with athleticism. At the plate he has a good base, gets a small separation for his load, and has a short/quick swing. Simple approach with a nice swing plane that produces line drives to all fields. In the field he has good footwork and is light on his toes. He also has soft hands with a quick release and short arm action. Advanced infield actions and has enough arm for SS right now but will likely be a 2B in the future. Haase threw 75 mph across the diamond and produced a 74 mph exit bat velocity.
