7/25/17 - 5-foot-10, 155-pound infielder, lean lanky frame. Defensively arm played loose and worked athletically, 78 mph across the diamond. Hands are soft, feet work through the baseball, drags feet through actions. 7.50 runner in the 60. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, short stride, good balance. Line drive type hitter, 82 mph exit velocity from the tee.

6/15/16 - 5-foot-9, 145-pound athletic frame. Ran a 4.58 from home to first. Has tools at the plate. Starts in an athletic stance at the plate before using a leg kick to initiate his lower half. His separation allows him to make contact deep without losing any batspeed. Good hitter. Ball came off his bat well in batting practice. Top exit velocity was 79 mph. In the infield he has athleticism to his actions with a very strong arm across the infield. Would be aided by playing through the ball more efficiently. On the mound the righty has above average armspeed and a delivery that requires some effort. Fastball sat 75-77 mph. His 11/5 shaped curveball has sharpness to it at 64-68 mph.

2/22/15- 5-foot-8, 125-pound small and athletic RHP/MIF impressed on the mound with three-pitch feel and action on secondary pitches. Fastball sat 70-73 mph, downhill angle, from short, loose, clean, high ¾ arm slot. Curveball flashed 12/6 shape, late breaking action, future plus pitch in 64-66 mph range, can really spin it. Changeup thrown near fastball arm speed aggressively, 68-70 mph with fading action. Alfonso is only a freshman, if/when he grows his upside on the mound could be very good thanks to his current feel for pitching.

10.26.14 - Right-handed hitting middle infielder hits from an open setup, hands load back, short stride, long, level bat path with gap-to-gap tendencies produced 76 mph exit velocity off the tee. Defensively, threw 68 mph across the diamond from loose, high ¾ arm slot. Ran a 7.59 60.

10.21.14 - 5-foot-8, 120-pound right-handed pitcher works from a long, loose, high ¾ arm slot, possesses arm speed, lacking physical strength presently. Short, compact delivery, front foot stays below knee, toe down at balance point, slide steps from the stretch, shoulders stay level throughout delivery, lower half stride directions stays in line with home plate, opens lower half front foot at land point towards first base side. Fastball sat 68-71 mph with slight sink, both of the 4-seam and 2-seam variety. Shows feel for spinning 11/5 breaking ball for strikes with gradual action. 63-67 mph changeup flashed sinking action.

3.9.14- 5-foot-6, 115-pound middle infielder. Offensively hits from an open stance, shorter stride back to square, maintains balance. Path gets extension, flat through the baseball, produced line drives, finishes high with two hands. 68 mph exit velocity from the tee. Ran the 60 in 8.08. Defensively uses a short over the top slot on the infield, 64 mph arm across the diamond.
