6-foot-4 210-pounds. Kirkman has been the go to guy for the Warriors out of the pen. Has yet to allow a single run in relief. The big bodied righty is going to be a 90mph arm in the near future. His fastball was up to 87, and settled in at 84-86. He does exactly what a relief pitcher is supposed to do. He attacked hitters early in the count, and did not fall behind. He forced contact, and pitched with a lead. His composure impressed when he came in with bases loaded and 2 outs. He attacked mostly with fastball, but mixed in the curveball at 72-74 with good intent. As of last week he only had 2 walks on the season, and will continue to limit the walks with his ability to fill up the zone, and get ahead with the fastball.
