10/19/14:  5-foot-9, 210 pound catcher with a big frame.  Moves well for his size.  Needs to improve athleticism and mobility.  Solid catch and throw guy.  From the crouch was 70 mph with good accuracy.  Pop times ranged from 2.18-2.31.  At the plate starts balanced and loads back.  Stride is short with good use of the lower half.  Overall good balance throughout the swing.  Bat speed is above average with a level path to the baseball.  Displayed some pop with hard hit line drives.  Registered an exit velo of 86 mph.  

12/15/13: 5-foot-8, 205 pound catcher was 2.30-2.41 with his pop times and was 66 mph from the crouch.  From 3B was 66 mph across the infield.  Lacks premium foot speed.  Fields it clean with a quick release.  Throws from a ¾ arm slot.  Feet are heavy.  At the plate hits from a slight crouch, with closed setup.  Uses a long uphill swing plane to generate lift.  Exit velo was 79 mph.
