6/15/16 5-foot-11, 162-pound thinner, athletic body frame, with room still left to fill. On the mound he throws exclusively from the stretch position, in a delivery that doesn’t require much effort. He uses simple mechanics, with a straight up and down leg lift, landing in a straight line at foot strike finishing with his momentum carrying towards home plate. Throws with a clean arm action, using just above average arm speed, through a ¾ slot. His fastball was thrown between 75-78 mph. His curveball has good depth to it at a 1/7 plane between 63-64 mph. Throws a slider with tighter spin and harder velocity than his curveball at 69 mph. From the outfield he uses good footwork, fielding the ball out in front on his glove side, and continues to play through the baseball to gain ground on his throws. Throws with a clean arm action, through a ¾ slot while reaching a top velocity of 76 mph. Left-handed hitter starts from a balanced stance, using a good weight shift with his lower half moving toward his back leg. Uses a fluid load with his hands moving toward his back shoulder. Showed some strength in his swing with the ability to use both sides of the field during his round of batting practice and finishes with a top exit velocity of 79 mph. He ran an 8.00 60-yard dash.
