Bernacchi is a 5-foot-11 inch, 190 lb first baseman. He demonstrates good range and works well around the bag. Offensively, Bernachhi possesses good eye hand coordination and has pop to all fields. He shows an upward swing plane, with good contact. He is recently coming off a leg injury. Bernacchi showed well at the plate. Offensively, he is short, quick and strong to the ball as he hit line drives all over the field. He has a quiet, fundamentally sound approach and displayed excellent bat control.
