Florek is a 6-foot-3 inch, 205 pound senior from Western HS in Kokomo. Jacob is a strong bodied pitcher that works with an over the top short circled arm action. His delivery is slow but his timing is okay. He throws three pitches including a fastball 79-81. A developing breaking ball at 64-67 and a circle change up that shows potential arm side run at 67-69.  In the outfield Florek shows good arm strength at 81 mph.  At the plate he shows a squatting stance with good hands.  Florek is a natural pull hitter with power potential.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound right-hander showed feel for three pitches, including a fastball that topped 78 mph. He also flashed a curveball with some bite and a changeup with arm-side action.
