8/5/15 - DeLeon is a 6-foot-4 185-pound right-handed pitcher. DeLeon touched 82 mph three times and worked 80-82, mainly with fastball.  Breaking ball showed late movement and depth, 11-to-5 action, change up had late arm side sink at 74 mph.  Throws heavy ball getting ground ball outs, athletic delivery with rhythm and body control, high three-quarters release, slightly across body.

11/2/14 - DeLeon is a 6-foot-4, 180-pound right-handed pitcher. Ideal pitcher’s frame. Turns and tucks at balance, tall balance point, stays closed during stride, hides ball, easy three-quarters arm action. Athletic delivery with rhythm and body control. Most fastballs had cutting action, late, 81-82 mph. Breaking ball with 11/5 shape, at times short, 64-65. Change-up 71-72 mph. Easy-armed right-hander with big league body that is a prime candidate to make jump in the class of 2016 group as he progresses.

10/5/14 - DeLeon bumped up his top fastball velocity to 83 mph. Threw one scoreless inning.

8/17/14 - DeLeon is a 6-foot-4, 180-pound right-handed pitcher.  Under control early, tall balance point.  Loose, whippy three-quarters arm action.  Strides across body hiding the ball well, deception.  Out in front release point.  Most fastballs had glove side cutting action, some with sinking movement low, high percentage of strikes, 80-82 mph.  Breaking ball with slurve spin, some sharp, 63-67 mph.  Near fastball arm speed on change-up, 72-73 mph.  Ideal pitcher's frame, projectable, strong follow in 2016 class.
