10/30/16 - Rogers is a 5-foot-10 180-pound right-handed hitting catcher and right-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2017 class.  He ran a 7.79 60 and a 4.65 home-to-first.  He has an 80 mph exit velo. At the plate, open stance, controlled leg kick, power to the pull side, showed ability to go other way, quick bat speed, aggressive.  Behind the plate, pop times between 2.12 and 2.28-seconds, 72 mph positional velo, athletic actions, loose and quick over the top release, sits low, high exchange, quick feet, accurate throws with carry. On the mound, Rogers has an over the top release, simple and easy delivery, repeates, fastball at 78-79 mph, some late running action, breaking ball has 12-to-6 action, 65-66 mph, can throw for a strike, change up at 66-71 mph, some with late fade, fastball arm speed.
