6/16/15 - 5-foot-11, 170-pound right-handed hitter hits from a balanced/wide stance with no stride, has a tendency to wrap bat in load with an arm bar, long swing path with average bat speed, 80 mph exit velocity, ran 4.90 down the line, went 0-for-4 in game play. Showed significant increase in velocity at 73 mph behind the plate, showed an improved transfer and release, 2.02-2.11 pop times with most throws accurate, solid receiver behind the plate. As a pitcher, uses long arm action through an over the top slot, fastball shows some cutting action and sat 75-77 mph, showed a 65-68 mph curveball that he consistently got around leaving it flat and up, walked the lead off batter, gave up one hit, and struck out two (both on fastballs) in his one inning of work.

1/17/15 - 5-foot-11, 165-pound prospect, long legs with wide shoulders build, hits from a wide base, no stride, flat bat path, line drive type hitter with gap to gap approach, 80 mph exit velocity, 4.99 home to first base time.  Defensively, shows soft receiving hand, high-3/4 release, room for quicker footwork, 69 mph arm strength from the crouch, pop times ranged from 2.20-2.31, pop times will improve with quicker glove to hand exchange and footwork. On the mound, uses long arm action through an over-the-top arm slot, falls off first base side, two-pitch guy (fastball and slider), fastball sat 75-76 mph touching 77 on one occasion and is straight, throws a 68-69 mph slider that showed 11/5 action, throws fastball consistently for strikes, showed some feel for the slider.
