10/14/12 - Cooper is a solid two-way prospect with a 6-foot-3, 210-pound frame with some projectability. On the mound he shows good balance throughout his delivery with on-line mechanics and a ¾ arm slot. His fastball sits at 81-83 mph with easy effort and some arm side run. He shows good command of his 66-68 mph curveball that shows tight spin and 11/5 action. In the field Cooper shows good hands and a clean exchange. At the plate, he shows a rotational type swing with a balanced setup. He makes solid contact with quick bat speed and showed the ability to drive the ball the other way with a double off the right-center field fence in the game play portion of the event.
