6/15/16 - 60 Time: 7.08, Position Velocity:  IF-78, Exit Velocity: 83
5-foot-10, 150-pound RHH hits from a balanced stance, short stride, displays loose hands and good feel for the barrel, keeps the barrel in the hitting zone a long time which produces line drive contact to all fields, went 1-for-3 in game play with a single to LF and a line out to first base, used in-game speed to steal two bases. Showed well defensively with very soft hands and moves athletically in both directions, short ¾ to high-3/4 release with solid arm strength. Didn’t quite run his best 60 on this occasion (6.95). Fundamentally sound player with good upside.
6/29/15 - 5-foot-9, 145-pound right-handed hitter hits from a balanced stance, short stride, has a slight arm bar in load phase, gets the barrel through the zone with some hand quickness, line drive type hitter impressed in BP making hard contact to all fields, showed good speed running 6.95 60-yard dash, hit well in game play going 2-for-4 with two sharp singles to left field. Shows adequate hands defensively, good lateral movement, long high-3/4 release with solid 80 mph velocity across the infield, accurate throws, good body control with ability to throw from multiple arm angles, solid 2017 prospect. As a pitcher, uses short arm action and works through a high-3/4 arm slot with regular effort, good lower half direction and lands square to the plate, works the lower part of the zone well with the fastball, fastball sat 72-75 mph with some sinking action, tends to get around developing curveball at 56-59 mph leaving it flat and up, allowed two hits and walked none in two scoreless innings of work.
