6/17/14 - Blaser is a 5-foot-11, 170-pound prospect who hits from an open stance with a short stride, and while he gets close to arm bar in his load, he showed quick hands in his batting practice round that consistently got the barrel through the zone with good bat speed.  He registered an 87 mph tee exit velocity, ran a 4.52 down the first base line, and went 0-for-4 in game play, reaching base once on error.  He showcased soft hands defensively with very good lateral movement in both directions with 79 mph arm strength across the infield and the ability to throw from multiple arm angles.
