6-foot-1, 180-pound RHP with athletic frame, arm works cleanly through a high 3/4 slot with normal effort, impressed with advanced pitchability locating all pitches at the bottom of the strike zone, fastball shows occasional arm-side run and showed an uptick in velocity from last fall, curveball maintained similar velocity as in the past with 11/5 and 12/6 shape, changeup is his most improved pitch as it showed a bigger velocity difference off the fastball that will make it more effective. Kleitz has likely not reached his velocity ceiling, making him a very interesting prospect with his current pitchability.

9/25/16 - Max FB: 82, FB: 80-82, CB: 71-74, CH: 76-78
6-foot-1, 175-pound RHP with projection, arm action is long and loose and works through a high-3/4 slot with normal effort in delivery, showed good pitchability as he pounded the strike zone with all pitches, fastball shows effective arm-side run, curveball was better from the stretch with 12/6 shape and located down in the zone, changeup has very solid fading action through the zone but will be most effective with bigger velocity difference off fastball. Very interesting pitcher with potential to add more velocity.
