6/28/17- Starts in a balanced setup at the plate. Goes with a short stride for timing. Barrel gets vertical prior to launch. A strong kid with obvious twitch through the zone. Barrel works on a uphill path with some whip to it. Ball gets off his bat well, showing present gap pop. Much more juice to come as he matures physically. In the infield he showed feel around the bag at third base. Glove skills are above average. Stays athletic outside his funnel. Showed enough arm to stay on the left-side. A projectable right handed pitcher that throws from a lower ¾ arm slot with a fluent delivery to the plate. He keeps his upper half tight through release and finishes towards the plate. He had one of the better three pitch mixes we saw on the day. His fastball has some arm side run to it, jamming right handed hitters. The breaking ball has a lot of movement, and it looks like a slurve at times with a 10-4 trajectory. His arm speed on the changeup is consistent to his fastball.
