1/19/14 - 6-foot-3, 185-pound prospect, projectable frame, uses long arm action through a high ¾ to over the top arm slot, arm worked more freely than the last time we saw him, showed a 2-4 mph increase in velocity as fastball sat 79-80 mph touching 81, tended to bury 70-72 mph curveball with 12/6 action, curveball was harder and sharper than at previous events, changeup sat 73-76 mph with some sink, has shown some progression since last seen during the summer.

7/9/13 - 6-foot-3, 185-pound prospect, good pitcher’s frame, mechanics stay on-line, uses long arm action through a high ¾ to over-the-top arm slot, showed some stiffness in delivery and arm on this occasion, fastball sat 75-77 mph, 2-seamer showed some arm-side run, showed good command of his 62-65 mph curveball with gradual 12/6 action, changeup is straight at 70-71 mph and thrown for strikes.

2/18/13 - Frank is a 6-foot-2, 185-pound RHP with good upside and a projectable frame.  Uses long arm action, good balance and rhythm in delivery, we saw Frank’s fastball up to 80 mph at the Louisville Prospect ID Showcase a month ago, on this occasion his fastball sat 75-77 mph, curveball showed gradual 11/5 action with less than fastball arm speed at 59-61 mph, changeup was straight at 67-70 mph.  Frank has good potential with continued development and velocity gains.

1/21/13 - Frank is a 6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect with a good frame.   He shows long arm action through a high ¾ slot that produced a 77-80 mph fastball that was straight.  He showed good command of a tight 11/5 curveball that sat 64-65 mph.  His changeup was thrown with good arm action and sat 68-69 mph with some cutting action.  The sophomore has good projectability and should continue to see velocity gains with room to fill on his frame.
