6/29/15 - 5-foot-9, 150-pound right-handed hitter hits from an open stance, squares front side with a short stride, compact swing with good extension through contact, loose hands, line drive type hitter, 78 mph exit velocity, ran a 7.88 60-yard dash, went 1-for-4 in game play with a single down left field line and reached base on an error on hard hit ball to SS. Has a solid swing; will need to improve foot speed moving forward. Shows adequate hands defensively, shows some athleticism in lateral movement, 74 mph velocity across the infield with accurate throws. As a pitcher, has a quick arm that works through a high-3/4 arm slot, opens front side early at times landing open, consistently throws strikes with a fastball/curveball mix, fastball sat 77-80 mph topping at 81 with occasional sink, 67-70 mph curveball shows solid 11/5 action, allowed three hits in first inning but settled down to pitch a perfect second inning, finished with no walks and one strikeout (looking on CB) in his outing, good arm strength for size with potential for additional velocity.
