10/14/12 - At 6-foot-5, 190-pounds, Knabel shows a projectable body. In the field, he shows decent footwork around the bag and 75 mph velocity across the field. At the plate, he uses a balanced setup and short stride with a line drive swing path. On the mound, Knabel showed decent balance and throws from a high ¾ arm slot. His fastball is straight at 76-79 mph. He showed a tight 11/5 curveball which was good when down in the zone. He also showed a 70-71 mph change up which he slows his arm on slightly.
