6/28/16

Left-handed hitting catcher who can also bounce to play in the outfield. A very versatile player, whom with strength could be diamond in the rough. In the outfield, threw 79 with a good approach through the ball and carry on his throws.  Is a quality outfielder as the reads and tracking are good. Behind the dish, handles the pitching with ease and needs to clean up the footwork as it is effecting his accuracy on his throws to second. With a pop time of 2.15, there is certainly room for improvement but the skill set to catch is there. Threw 70 mph from behind the dish. Ran a 4.6 down the line on the dig to first. At the plate, shows a loose and clean left-handed stroke. The bat needs strength and the path needs to be shortened but again, it's in there. Sets up with a side base and low hands. The bat casts out so possibly and shift in the hand position start could shorten his path. Tee exit velocity of 77.

10/18/15
Left-handed hitting outfielder who moonlights as a catcher as well. I believe he can play both positions very well. As an outfielder, he shows the ability to get off the ball and run the balls down. Behind the plate, he shows extremely soft hands with the ability to throw as well. His received and ability to block should continue to develop making him a very good option behind the plate. As a hitter, he needs strength, but the hands work and he has quality at bats at all events. Could stay taller on the backside through the swing. The plane of the bat could flatten a little, but the barrel finds the ball often. Had 3 hits in the games on Sunday and a pop time of 2.0

9/27/15

Versatile and athletic outfielder who can kick behind the dish and handle pitching. In the outfield, he shows good range and ability to get off the ball. Threw 77 from the outfield. Behind the dish, he shows soft hands and a quick release, threw 72 from behind the plate. Pop time of 2.01. Is definitely a guy who can do both. At the plate, he is a left-handed hitter, tee exit velocity of 76. Sets up with a wide base and hands close into his body. The swing needs strength and the backside of his body needs to stay stable. Ran a 4.68 down the line and was very active and efficient in the game. With strength he could become a very valuable prospect.

6/23/15
Played very well all day during the event. Swung the bat very well, showed a feel for receiving behind the dish and moved well in the outfield and on the bases. Ran a 7.41 and threw 76 from the outfield and 73 from behind the dish. Pop time of 2.15 will improve as the footwork and transfer are solid. The body needs strength to it, to aid in the improvement. The feel for receiving the ball is very good. The bat played very well as he spread the field in the game. Stayed inside the ball out of a even base and showed a clean, solid swing. Good looking player.

3/8/15
6-foot, 150-pound athletic build. From the crouch he sits back their real quiet. Shows solid footwork and a clean exchange. From a high-¾ slot his pop times ranged from 2.19-2.37 with 67 mph arm strength down to second. Left-handed hitter that stands tall with small stride with good load and rhythm in his swing. Short compact swing with 74 mph exit velocity and ran 7.91-60.
