5-foot-8, 135 pound right-handed hitting infielder had a tee exit velocity of 70 mph. The initial set up is tall, with the hands set off the back shoulder. As he loads, he squats into a little stronger hitting position. The bat-path is slightly elevated as he works through the hitting zone. He extends well through contact, creating good carry.
In the infield, he was 67 mph across the diamond. The feet are active and he does a good job of getting into a balanced fielding position. The hands work well, out in front, as he fields. He then transitions into a solid throwing position, in line with the target.
On the mound, he uses a controlled delivery to work down the mound. A short step into the balance point, allows him to collect himself before separating to throw. The stride down the mound has a little more weight going to the outside of the landing foot, causing him to fall toward the first base side. The arm-circle is a clean over the top slot. The fastball sat 66-68 mph with good direction. The breaking ball was 54-56 mph and showed the correct spin. He also mixed in a change-up at 61-63 that still looks to be developing.
