6-foot-2, 220-pound right-handed pitcher and outfielder. In the outfield, threw 71 mph. The slot is plus ¾  and the approach to the ball is cautious. Ran a 4.80 on his dig to first base at the event. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 87 mph as the hands are strong. Hits out of a wide base, uses a pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches. The swing has lift in it, long to the zone but strong at contact. The hands are loose and clean so tweaking is feasible. On the mound, the fastball touched 77 mph. The spin pitch is 64 mph, needs more fastball hand speed to the pitch. The changeup is a work in progress. The delivery is online with his feet, the tracking off the front shoulder needs to aligned. The arm works above ¾ and the flexion is minimal. The glove comes across the hitters face as he makes his way into foot strike.  1.68 to the plate in the stretch.

6-foot-2, 215-pound right-handed pitcher out of Team Mizuno program. The fastball touched 77 mph from an over the top slot. The breaking ball has good shape to it, sitting at 64 mph. The ball hand slows down when he spins the ball, keeping fastball hand speed on all pitches is imperative. The lift is methodical and the glove side has pull to it, causing the slot to raise and slow his arm down. A posture fix is needed and developing the secondary stuff will aid his game. Good frame to be a pitcher.

6/29/16

Arm strength right-handed pitcher with a fastball touching 78 mph. The fastball occasionally showed some cutting action to it as he gets on the side of the ball with his fingers causing the ball to cut. The breaking ball is big, sitting 63-64 mph. Improving the hand speed on the spin pitch will help improve the velocity of the pitch. Throws a split finger as his minus pitch, it sat at 69-71 mph. The delivery has top ½ lean to it  and he has a front side pull causing the slot to raise higher than ¾. Showed good arm strength.
