5-foot-11, 205-pound strong durable pitchers frame. The back and shoulders are wide and have strength. A right-handed pitcher, the delivery is simple, hands start at chest and stay there throughout. The leg raise is controlled and gets to a very good gather, has some coil to it at its peak. The direction is inline, uses the lower half well. The tempo is slightly slower, could accelerate it a bit more. The arm action is long and works freely, has a small jab on the back side. The fastball was clocked in the mid 80’s, with more in the tank, was able to locate it to the outer half. The breaking ball is an above average pitch, clocked at 73-75 mph, it's late with 1/7 tilt to it, poured it in there for strikes. The changeup was clocked at 77 mph, still a work in progress, probably hasn't had to use it much. Good looking power arm, someone is going to get a good one.

5-foot-11, 183-pound two-way prospect that showed well for himself with his versatility. Positionally, at third he was 77 mph across the diamond with an arm action that was long. Foot speed will need to improve in the infield as he ran a 5.50 40-yard dash. The swing is loose and the barrel needs to flatten through the zone. Exit velocity off the tee was 87 mph so the bat speed is there. On the mound, is a bit higher than ¾ slot with a nice clean arm swing. There is life in his arm and he has deception as he pitches against his feet so the ball has angle to it. Touched 81 mph with life to it. Spun a breaking ball at 68 mph with depth. The changeup was at 73 mph and needs a rotational clean but he could advance that in time. Matt is a nice looking pitcher who should be followed throughout this coming spring and summer.
