5-foot-9, 165-pound athletic frame, wiry-strong, hands and legs are above average, stronger than he looks. Offensively, the stance is slightly open, balanced throughout the swing. The hands are set just above the shoulders, uses a waggle of the bat to get hands back, has a leg kick for timing. The hands work, it’s level through the zone, is on time when he makes contact, lower half generates power and is under control. The tee exit velocity was 87 mph, life in his hands, middle of the field approach. Defensively, clocked at 80, arm swing is clean on the back, ball came out ok, with some carry. Used more of a shuffle, when transferring, could step through to gain ground. Ran an easy 4.19 home to first. Interesting kid, has tools, more in the tank in all parts to his game, high follow for me.
