3.25.18
5-foot-10, 170 pounds, average athletic proportions with sloped shoulders. Still has some room to fill out in the upper half. Audet ran a 7.47 sixty yard dash. At the plate, he works from a slightly open stance with a slightly inverted front foot. Some pre-pitch bat waggle before his leg kick triggers the swing. At his best when the lead leg stays even, can open up too early at times causing the bat to fall behind the body. His hands start above the shoulders with some looseness before a slight drop as he readies to swing. Average bat speed with good hip rotation, finishes strong through the point of contact. His tee exit velocity was measured at 82 MPH. A line drive, contact oriented approach with a mostly level bat path. As an infielder, Audet’s arm was clocked at 81 MPH across the diamond. Throws from a ¾ arm slot, but has feel and comfort going to different angles based on the play. The feet move well and the hands are soft. Smooth actions and double play turns. Profiles best at second base long term based on range. An uncommitted 2019 prospect, Audet can continue improving his physicality this summer heading into his senior year and is someone to watch in the state of Rhode Island.
3-19-17

5-foot-10, 170-pound, average athletic frame. The hands and wrists have strength to them. A right-handed hitter, the stance is balanced throughout, feet are open to even, wider than shoulder width apart, hands are set just at shoulder height, bat starts in a good hitting position, hands have some prep pitch movement to them, are controlled. For timing uses a small leg kick, gains ground with the stride, hands stay back and are loaded up in a good hitting position. The swing is down to level to up, path is direct and short to the baseball and long after. The swing is short with pop to it, tee exit velocity was clocked at 87 mph, very good strength for his age. The approach was more middle to pull, took two solid rounds of batting practice. Defensively, plays up the middle, can play on both sides of the back, might be better suited for second base, with the ability to really swing the bat. The prep steps are good, works from the ground up, fields out front and keeps his feet moving throughout. The arm action is clean and quick on the back side, works out of a natural ¾ slot, clocked at 73 mph. The feeds and double play starts were on time and worked through the slow roller play. Good follow, has a chance to hit at the next level.

Sixty-yard dash: 7.44
