The arm strength needs to improve as he matures, along with the footwork during the transfer. Ran a 4.61 on his dig to first base. The bat has a chance, long and strong to the ball. The big left-handed swing should produce power as he physically matures. Tee exit velocity of 84 mph. Sets up slightly open and the hand path to the ball is long and flat. The front shoulder comes off the ball too soon, the need to control the front side will have to improve for plate coverage. I like the bat, would like to see him work on the arm and make time for himself at first base as well.

Left-handed catching prospect who we are seeing for the first time. At the plate, shows an even base, and a sweeper swing. The direction of the barrel needs to improve as he is strong and the bottom half of the swing is under control. Tee exit velocity of 88 mph. The defensive portion of the workout showed a pop time of 2.11 and he threw 68 mph from behind the dish. The arm path needs to shorten for him to have a better pop time, he is long with his throwing motion during the transfer. Ran a 4.51 down the line on a dig to first base.
