The ability to catch is there as he shows a soft glove and the ability to block and throw. Ran a 4.61 on his dig to first base. The bat has strength to it, tee exit velocity of 83 mph. Sets up with a wide base and goes knee to knee as the ball approaches. Keeps the feet under control as he swings. The hands are even and he shows a long path to the ball. Shortening and making the bat more direct with aid his contact point. Interesting looking catcher as he can catch and throw, and the bat has a chance with reps.

Right-handed hitting catcher who worked hard at the event. Ran a 4.6 down the line on a dig to first. Showed solid receiving skills behind the dish with the ability to block as well. Pop time of 2.0 as he is a solid catching candidate. Threw 72 mph from behind the dish. The bat needs strength, tee exit velocity of 75 mph. The set up is even footed with the bat starting on the shoulder. Showed a long, flat path to contact with good plate coverage. The hands work fine, and the bat could develop as he matures.
