2/09/19

6-foot-7, 215- pound left-handed pitcher. The fastball sat 81-83 mph, downhill at times. The spin pitch needs to be smaller as it is presently slurvy, sitting at 70-72 mph. The changeup has the right direction, sitting at 75 -77 mph. The delivery is online and the slot is above 3/4. The lift is quick and athletic, small in height. The glove side is soft and directed well. The tracking is done well. The jump in velocity is coming, as the frame has too much leverage and the arm works too well, just a matter of time.

6/05/18

6-foot-6, 210-pound left-handed pitcher. Continues to grow and develop as he has a good feel for his slot and the tempo of his delivery. The lift is athletic, online and quick in tempo. The arm works extremely well. Strength can be added to the frame but he is trending the right way for me. The fastball touched 85 mph, comes out of his hand well, true in form. The spin pitch is slurvy, sits at 73 mph. Would like to see it shortened up and thrown harder, making it a legit slider. The changeup has improved, showed fade and sink at times, sat at 77-78 mph. Big and high level prospect

3/08/17

6-foot-5, 180-pound left-hander out of the Northeast Baseball program. Big and loose left-hander, pitches out of a higher than ¾ arm slot. The frame is projectable, and he is athletic. Easy lift to start the delivery, does an excellent job tracking and staying with his arm. Glove side is posted appropriately and his direction of his feet is appropriate. The frame needs weight and strength, which should come in the next year. Fastball touched 76 mph with a downhill plane to it. The spin pitch is big and wide, as he wraps the wrist behind his head, slowing ball hand down. Touched 62 mph. The changeup has the correct spin and fade, sits at 71 mph. Good follow, big and left-handed.

2018 FUTURE GAMES
6-foot-7, 215-pound left-handed pitcher. Continues to grow and improve the mechanics on the bump. The fastball touched 84 mph, we have seen him a bit better than that. Minimal arm side run to the pitch. The slider is progressing nicely, as it touched 75 mph. The changeup is a developing pitch, sitting at 76 -77 mph with minimal fade to it. The slot is slightly above ¾ and loose. The feet are online and the delivery is athletic. The arm works free and clean, good tempo to the delivery. The front side is soft and corralled during the delivery. The tracking has improved and can still improve to help the extension to the plate.  A great deal to like, as 6-foot-7 left-handed pitchers are hard to come by.

PROCASE
6-foot-7, 205-pound left-handed pitcher. Up and coming left-hander who is still developing as we speak. The slot is slightly above ¾ and he does a good job of staying online with his feet. The tracking of the front shoulder is appropriate. The glove side is loose as he pulls across the hitters face and the glove is outside his body frame at release. The frame is projectable and the arm is fast. The fastball sits 86-87 mph with arm side run. The slider is still developing in the low 80’s. The changeup is still a work in progress and too hard, sitting at 82-83 mph. The sky is the limit for this guy.

2017 Future Games
6-foot-6, 190-pound, long, lengthy athletic frame. The shoulders are sloped, has plenty of room for future development.  A left-handed pitcher with a very high ceiling. The arm action is clean, has average length to it on the back side. The delivery is repeatable, hands stay at the midsection, leg raise is smooth, could get to more of a gather, weight wants to drift forward, could stay over rubber longer. The direction is inline, gets good extension on release, stride foot has length to it. The arm works out ¾ to high ¾ slot. The fastball was located down in the zone at 82 mph. The breaking ball, was clocked at 66-69 mph, thrown softer, was able to drop it in for strikes. The changeup showed proper fade and action to the arm side, clocked at 68-73 mph, had swing and misses with it. Pitched two clean, quick efficient innings. The arm isn't overly fast, with added strength, throwing program, and the clean arm, look for the velocity to climb rather quick.
