First time seeing this young man pitch and he showed very well for himself at the event. Pounded the strike zone with all his pitches, showing feel for his delivery and pitching. The fastball touched 73 mph, as it has arm side run. The spin pitch has great shape and depth to it, sitting at 60 mph. The changeup is thrown properly and has the right fade to it, sitting at 63 mph. The delivery is repeated and online to the plate. Does a good job of tracking the front shoulder and staying closed to foot strike. The arm slot is slightly higher than 3/4 and works freely. Athletic lift and small turn of the body at the top of the lift. Does a good job staying with his arm and getting extension. 1.4 to the plate in the stretch.
