6-foot, 235-pound right-handed hitting third baseman and pitcher. Defensively, threw 70 mph across the diamond with accuracy. The approach and prep steps to the ball at third base need to improve in the coming year. The glove is soft and he can field appropriately. Arm has plenty in it, needs to move better to stay at third base. Ran a 8.4 sixty at the event. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 81 mph. Sets up with his feet wide and drifts his body weight into the swing. The hands work well, as they are loose and free. The barrel gets to the zone out of a long and strong path. Needs to finish the swing after contact. Did a real nice job on the bump. The fastball touched 76 mph, showed good arm side run and the ability to work the inner half of the plate. The spin pitch has the correct shape, sitting at 62 mph. The changeup has fade and sink to it, sitting at 62 mph. Strike thrower with good feel for all 3 pitches. The delivery is online and he does a good job with his direction to the plate. Pitches out of a slightly higher than 3/4 arm slot. Stays with his arm and competes. Like on the mound, plus feel for pitching.
