Ran a 6.87 sixty yard dash, along with being clocked down the line at 4.46 on a ground ball in the hole. At the plate, stance is even, hands held just above the shoulders. The swing is short to the baseball, could stay through it, keeping barrel in the zone longer. The approach is more middle of the field. Off the mound, had good direction to the plate, arm action is shorter, with a small stab on the bottom of the arm path. The fastball was clocked at 73-74 mph, with the breaking ball at 60 mph, showed to have more slider break to it. Athletic right-handed hitting middle infielder and right-handed pitcher. On the mound, fastball is true, sat at 74 mph. The spin pitch is a breaking ball, sitting at 67 mph with a good shape to it. The delivery is athletic and the slot is 3/4. The glove has pull to it, taking him off target and stretching him out at release. The direction of the delivery is proper with his feet. Positionally, threw 71 mph across the diamond from shortstop to first base. The glove is solid and the feet are quick. Proper prep steps need to be taught to aid him working through the ball. Ran an event best 6.94 at the event. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 79 mph. Squared up a couple balls during the simulated scrimmage. Sets up with an even base and high handed start. The path is simple, and slightly uphill to contact. The bottom half is under control and calm. Working on his short game will help his game, as he is a good runner.
