Athletic and twitchy behind plate, flexible and moves well, holds pitches in zone, quick release, wrapping arm action, avg. accuracy to bag, 72 mph arm strength with 1.83-2.00 pop times.

7/5/17- 5-foot-11, 170-pound right-handed hitting catcher. 7.3 runner. Square stance with leg kick, locked wrists through contact, inconsistent BP session, 85 mph exit velocity. Strong setup behind plate, receives balls in upper half of zone well; needs improvement in lower half, above avg. blocker, quick feet with direction, clean exchange, long arm action, 68 mph arm strength with 2.12-2.18 pop times.

10/24/16- 5-foot-10, 165-pound right-handed hitting, 2-way player. 7.52 runner. Pre-set hands, balanced stride with front heel turn trigger, consistent line drive contact with gap to gap approach, 84 mph exit velocity. Smooth actions and moves well behind plate, sticks pitches in zone, above avg. ability to work across body. Flexible behind plate, has direction with feet, length to exchange, longer arm action, throws show solid carry and avg. accuracy to bag, 69 mph arm strength behind plate with 2.13-2.27 pop times. On mound; controlled delivery, slight back arm at balance point, and lands across body with avg. extension to plate. Fastball was thrown consistently for strikes at 78-80 mph. Solid shape and spin on 11/5 breaking ball. Tends to slow arm on changeup; but still has solid fade in zone for strikes.
