2/10/18 - Dacus is a 5-foot-11 175-pound right-handed hitting catcher and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2021 class. He ran a 7.33 60 and has an 83 mph exit velocity. At the plate, starts slightly open, quiet hands, in line stride, swing produced middle to pull side contact during hitting evaluations. Behind the plate, pop times between 2.19 and 2.34-seconds, 69 mph positional velocity, staggered stance in base, high three quarters release, quick transfer, short jab step. On the mound, Dacus raises hands with high leg lift, in line stride, strong build with over the top release, fastball worked at 80-82 mph, both side of the plate, curveball has 11-to-5 shape, some sharp, 63-67 mph, change up worked arm side and slight late run, mostly 75-77 mph.
