6/16/15 - 06/16/15 – Hicks is a 6-foot-2,  180-pound switch-hitting first baseman in Missouri’s 2017 class. He ran a 60 time of 7.51. He throws from a three-quarters arm slot. Reese has fluid footwork and a clean exchange. His position velo was 68 mph. At the plate, Hicks has an athletic setup with a drop load. He barreled up most balls with a level swing that produces gap-to-gap line drives. His exit velo was 86 mph from the right side and 78 mph from the left side. As a pitcher, Reese posted a max fastball velo of 75 mph. Hicks has an over-the-top release, throws with regular effort, and has smooth rhythm.  He stays in line towards the target, lands square, and has an athletic finish.  He worked at 72-75 mph with his fastball.
