The hands are set high and the the front foot gains ground as the ball approaches. The path is long and flat to the ball, shortening the swing will help him handle the inner half of the plate. Doubled in game play. Solid athlete for me.

The start is even footed, with a knee to knee timing mechanism on the bottom half as the swing starts. The bottom half opens up a bit too soon as the ball approaches. The path is slightly uphill, but the barrel finds the ball, as he tripled in the game.
