Leonard has an athletic 5-foot-11, 170 pound build. The outfield prospect was the most explosive athlete at the event. He ran a 6.81 in the 60-yard dash and he showcased the strongest arm thus far in PBR New Jersey history at 94 miles-per-hour from the outfield. He is a premium defender who can track down almost everything in centerfield. He hits from a tall stance with some rhythm in his hands. He has a smooth stroke up until contact where he goes immediately into a high, abbreviated finish. This makes him rush in-and-out of the hitting zone. When he gets barrel on the baseball, the ball jumps. Being such a good athlete, the consistency should improve as he matures in the box.
